Theatre TCU’s production of No, No, Nanette, one of the most popular musicals of the 1920s, runs April 17-21 at Scott Theatre in the Fort Worth Community Arts Center, 1300 Gendy St.
Music
was written by Vincent Youmans, lyrics by Irving Caesar & Otto Harbach, and
book by Otto Harbach and Frank Mandel. At least two famous show tunes, Tea for Two and I Want to Be Happy, are the legacy of this classic.
No, No, Nanette runs April 17 - 20 at
7:30 p.m. with matinee performances Saturday and Sunday, April 20 and 21 at
2:30 p.m.

from 12:30-5:30 p.m. Monday-Friday and one hour before each performance.
Tickets
are $10 for faculty, staff and students; $15 for the public. Student tickets
(for students from other schools) and senior citizen tickets (for those aged 60
and older) are also available for $10.

production is directed by Harry Parker, choreographed by Penny Maas, and under
the musical direction of Alan Shorter. No,
No, Nanette features Jackie Raye, Gabe Whitehurst, Sophie Smith, Shelby
Ringdahl, Zach Gamet, Anthony Fortino, Delaney Milbourn, Caroline Iliff,
Caroline Carden, Kylie Arnold, Luke Atkinson, Ryan Dyer, Jonathan Hardin, Dalton
Hutto, Kyle Montgomery, Rashaun Sibley, Marisa Bonahoom, Jessi Little, Jenna
Meador, Taylor Quick, Abbie Ruff, and Emily Versen.
The
show’s production team includes: Brian Clinnin (scenic designer), Michael Heil
(costume designer), Bill Eikenloff (sound designer), Michael Skinner (lighting designer),
and TCU students Kiera Kindsfather (stage manager), Caroline Reyes & Kat
Thompson (assistant stage managers).
