Graduate and
undergraduate students in the Harris College of Nursing & Health Sciences
are presenting their research at the 10th annual Student Research
Symposium on Thursday, the URC Special Events Gym. Presentations will be based
on new research findings, translational research, or research in progress,
providing new data or information pertaining to disciplines or clinical
practice within the College.
Research will be
displayed and judged
between 1 and 3 p.m. followed by guest speaker Kelyn Rola and awards ceremony
until 4 p.m.
“The Harris College
Research Symposium provides students the opportunity to develop skills,
knowledge and self-confidence in conducting and presenting their research in a
professional venue, which will increase their preparedness for graduate school
and professional employment,” said Debbie Rhea, associate dean of
research in Harris College and chair of the Harris College of Nursing &
Health Sciences Student Research Symposium.
