The morning event will consist of 791 candidates receiving degrees from the Neeley School of Business, AddRan College of Liberal Arts, College of Fine Arts and University Programs. Chancellor Victor J. Boschini, Jr. will deliver the Commencement address at both ceremonies. Graduating senior Michael Adams will lead the singing of a hymn and the TCU Alma Mater. The TCU Commencement Band, under the direction of Bobby R. Francis, Brian Youngblood and Jeremy Strickland, will play for both ceremonies. Alumni from the class of 1963 will be in attendance, celebrating the 50th anniversary of their graduation.
The 808 students who will graduate in the afternoon represent the College of Communication, College of Education, College of Science & Engineering and Harris College of Nursing & Health Sciences. Brite Divinity School will graduate 27 students during the afternoon ceremony. Graduating senior Daniel Floren will lead the singing of a hymn and the TCU Alma Mater.
In addition to Chancellor Boschini and Provost Nowell Donovan, the platform party for both ceremonies will include Rev. Angela Kaufman, minister to the University, as well as vice chancellors, deans and Cabinet members. TCU Board of Trustee members Clarence Scharbauer, Jerry Ray, Joan Rogers, Jack Larson and Nick Giachino will attend the morning ceremony and Trustees Clarence Scharbauer, Jerry Ray, Jack Larson and Dani Cartwright will attend the afternoon ceremony.
