Sessions began Thursday and ran each day through lunchtime Saturday in the University Union. Keynote speaker was Dr. Tim Quinn, author of In the Arena: Building the Skills for Peak Performance in Leading Schools and Systems. He is recognized nationally as a pioneer in superintendent preparation, coaching and support.
Throughout his career, Quinn has also served as an English teacher and football coach, assistant principal, principal, assistant superintendent and, at age 32, was appointed superintendent of the 20,000-student Green Bay Public Schools in Wisconsin.
Other sessions included such topics as The Art of Constructive Data Use, Predictions of Technology in Education and Strategies for Selecting and Developing Great Leadership Talent.
Participants were housed on campus and dined at the BLUU.
