Dr. Margarite Fernández-Olmos will be guest speaker at the Third Annual Latina/o Studies Lecture at 7 p.m. Thursday in Palko Hall, rm. 130. Professor of Spanish at Brooklyn College, City University of New York, she will discuss "On Becoming Latina in the U.S., a Personal Journey." The event is free and open to the public.

 

 

Fernández-Olmos has authored, translated, co-authored or co-edited a dozen books and has taught at universities in the Northeast, including Vassar College and Fordham University in Manhattan.
