Theatre TCU's studio production set for Oct. 28-30
Published:

Theatre TCU presents A.R. Gurney’s The Dining Room: If Our Walls Could Talk, What Stories They Would Tell next week in the Studio Theatre of Ed Landreth Hall. Performances are Oct. 28 - 29 at 5:30 p.m. and Oct. 30 at 2:30 and 7:30 p.m.

In this insightful play about the vanishing upper middle class culture, the activities and relationships between several families revolve around the centerpiece of WASP culture: the dining room.  Through the diverse talents of six actors, we can watch glimpses of several families’ lives, whether touching, funny, painful, or charming, around the familiar and comfortable dinner table.  This production is entirely designed, directed, and created by TCU students.

The cast includes Samantha Clayborn, Alyssa Gardner, Bradley Gosnell, Carl Hollingsworth, Tyler Krieg and Kelsey Milbourn. Members of the production staff include director Justin Bryant Rapp, scenic designer Julia Poole, lighting designer Jim Rogers, costume designer Sergio Bedford and stage manager Emily Zumstein.

Call the TCU Box Office at ext. 8080 to reserve tickets.  The box office is open from 12:30-5:30 p.m. Monday-Friday and will open one hour before each performance. Tickets are $10 to the public and $5 to students, faculty/staff and seniors (over 60).
