The Dept. of History & Geography (AddRan College of Liberal Arts) will present a free, public lecture titled "10 Lies about Abraham Lincoln" tomorrow at 7 p.m. in Palko Hall, rm. 130. Guest speaker is Dr. Allen C. Guelzo, the Henry R. Luce III Professor of Civil War Era Studies at Gettysburg College in Gettysburg, PA.

 

Dr. Guelzo is the author of Lincoln and Douglas: The Debates that Framed America (2009), Abraham Lincoln's Emancipation Proclamation: The End of Slavery in America (2006), and The Crisis of the American Republic: A History of the Civil War and Reconstruction (1995).
