Six TCU faculty were recognized for their outstanding service to the University during Fall Commencement Dec. 18 in Daniel-Meyer Coliseum. Winners of the 2010 Deans' Teaching Awards are
Blaise Ferradino (College of Fine Arts),
Kathy Baldwin (Harris College of Nursing & Health Sciences) and
Larry Peters (M.J. Neeley School of Business). Other nominees were
Douglas Ingram (College of Science and Engineering),
Jeff Roet (AddRan College of Liberal Arts),
Jill Havens (AddRan College of Liberal Arts),
Tommy Thomason (College of Communication) and
Susan Anderson (College of Education).
Winners of the 2010 Deans' Creativity or Research Award were
Steve Woodworth (AddRan College of Liberal Arts),
Jean-Luc Montchamp (College of Science & Engineering) and
Chris Sawyer (College of Communication. Also nominated this year were
Darren J.N. Middleton (AddRan College of Liberal Arts),
Jan Lacina (College of Education),
H. Joseph Butler (College of Fine Arts),
Suzy Lockwood (Harris College of Nursing & Health Sciences) and
Mauricio Rodriguez (Neeley School of Business).
The University also bestowed, for the sixth time, the Michael R. Ferrari Award for Distinguished University Service and Leadership.
Will Stallworth, associate vice chancellor of facilities, received the honor for his management skills and oversight during the past few years of construction and campus improvements.
