Percussion Ensemble performs in Ed Landreth Auditorium
They will play Prelude and Rondo alla Marcia (Raymond Helble), Oferendas No. 3 (Ricardo Souza), Symphony for Percussion (Eric Ewazen), Doors (Dave Hall), Hohner (David Maslanka) and I Ching (Dwayne Rice).
Thursday, Feb. 17 – 7 p.m.
Wind Symphony and Jazz Ensemble perform in Ed Landreth Auditorium
Their program includes Jazzalogue #1 (Joseph Turrin), Rhapsody for Concert Band and Jazz Ensemble (Patrick Williams), Hymn for a Blue Hour (John Mackey), Concerto 2010 (Anthony Plog) and Symphony #8 (David Maslanka).
The groups will depart by air Monday, Feb. 21 for several days of rehearsals and sightseeing in Manhattan. The students will also attend a Broadway show and a performance by the New York Philharmonic Orchestra. Music faculty members making the trip include Bobby Francis, Brian West, Curt Wilson, Brian Youngblood and Jeremy Strickland.

Wind Symphony and Jazz Ensemble, along with guest artists American Brass Quintet, will perform at Stern Auditorium, Perelman Stage at Carnegie Hall.
