The morning event will consist of 697 candidates receiving degrees from the Neeley School of Business, AddRan College of Liberal Arts, College of Fine Arts and University Programs. Chancellor Victor J. Boschini, Jr. will deliver the Commencement address at both ceremonies. Graduating senior Vanessa Becerra will lead the singing of a hymn and the TCU Alma Mater. The TCU Commencement Band, under the direction of Bobby R. Francis and Jeremy Strickland, will play for both ceremonies. Alumni from the class of 1962 will be in attendance, celebrating the 50th anniversary of their graduation.
The 790 students who will graduate in the afternoon represent the College of Communication, College of Education, College of Science & Engineering and Harris College of Nursing & Health Sciences. Brite Divinity School will graduate 27 students during the afternoon ceremony. Graduating senior Colton Blake will lead the singing of a hymn and the TCU Alma Mater.
In addition to Chancellor Boschini and Provost Nowell Donovan, the platform party for both ceremonies will include Rev. Angela Kaufman, minister to the University, as well as vice chancellors, deans and Cabinet members. TCU Board of Trustee members Clarence Scharbauer, Jerry Ray, Joan Rogers, Jan Scully and Bruce Hunt will attend the morning ceremony and Trustees Clarence Scharbauer, Jerry Ray, Jan Scully, Dani Cartwright, John Davis and Roger Williams will attend the afternoon ceremony.
