The TCU Police Department is offering a RAD (Rape Aggression Defense) class to all women, beginning Saturday. RAD is a cost-free program, designed to help empower women by teaching simple, realistic self defense tactics and techniques. The classes also cover risk reduction and prevention through a system of personal safety and threat assessment skills.
Below are the dates, times and locations of the classes. Those who register for one of the sessions must attend both days.
Saturday Oct. 8 noon - 6 p.m. Rec Center/ Academic side, Room #44
Saturday Oct. 15 noon-6 p.m. Rec Center, Special Events Gym
Notebooks are provided. Please wear athletic attire.
