The annual Ministers Week co-sponsored by TCU and Brite Divinity School will be Feb. 6-9 at University Christian Church. The event has a 70-plus year history of providing continuing education for lay and ordained ministers.

 

Speakers and events during the four days include:

• Mike Graves, noted professor of preaching and author of six books on the subject

• Namsoon Kang, Brite professor of World Christianity and Religions

• Bruce Epperly, theologian, pastor, author and leader in lay and pastoral faith formation

• Phyllis Trible, internationally known biblical scholar and rhetorical critic, author of books, articles and book reviews and commentator for Bill Moyers’ public television series, Genesis: A Living Conversation

• Organ Recital and Hymn Sing, conducted by Patrick A. Scott

• Workshops on prophetic hospitality, how digital technology is impacting the life of faith, Christian faith and Zen practice and music for worship
