Political Science professor Jim Riddlesperger was presented with the “Honors Professor of the Year” Award during Honors Convocation last week.

 

A member of the TCU faculty since 1982, Jim is the author of numerous books and articles about politics in general and Texas politics in particular.  He served as chair of his department for nine years and is frequently interviewed in the media when the topic of the day concerns politics or elections.

 

Jim received his B.A. and M.A. degrees from the University of North Texas and Ph.D. degree from the University of Missouri-Columbia. He is married to Nursing professor Kris Riddlesperger. They have two grown sons.
