RAD is a comprehensive program of realistic, self-defense tactics and techniques for women that begins with risk reduction, prevention, personal safety and threat assessment skills. The curriculum progresses to the basics of hands-on defense training. Classes are held over a two-day period, with the next session scheduled for 1-7 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m.- 4 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 24-25, in the University Recreation Center classroom #44 on the first day, classroom #37 on the second day. Workbooks and other materials are provided. You must be able to commit to both days to be eligible for the class.
