On Tuesday, Jan. 15, 2013, from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m., the Texas Health Resources Mobile Unit will be parked in front of Brown-Lupton University Union to provide prostate cancer screenings for TCU faculty, staff, and their dependents.  To schedule an appointment, call 1.877.THR.WELL (1-877-847-9355).  These screenings will be at no cost, regardless of insurance coverage.

 

January is National Cervical Cancer Awareness Month.  On Thursday, Jan. 17 from noon – 1 p.m. in Kelly Center, Cox C, Suzy Lockwood will present information on the latest information and newest treatments for cervical cancer, including the vaccine. She is director of the TCU Center for Oncology Education and Research, editor of Contemporary Issues in Women’s Cancers and a veteran nurse oncologist.
