Cost of the event is $40 per person or $400 for a table of 10. All ticket proceeds will benefit the Susan G. Komen of Greater Fort Worth for the Cure to provide funds for research and breast cancer treatment. The event is open to all women ages 21 and up.
"So many members of our team have been affected by breast cancer and it has touched me personally. My stepmother and stepsister are both survivors, and I am committed to the cause," explained head coach Jim Schlossnagle. Some perks for guests to look forward to are: complimentary valet from Rent A Frog, a chance to take a round of batting practice, test your velocity on your fastball, a fashion show featuring members of the baseball team, who will model the upcoming season's uniforms and the Showgirls modeling attire from Leddy's Ranch and CD Ski and Sport as well as numerous door prizes.
Members of the baseball team will be on hand as well. The evening will include and player panel and a Q&A session for attendees. Dinner will be provided by Blue Mesa. Special women's baseball t-shirts will be sold at the clinic and throughout the season with proceeds benefiting Komen. The TCU Team Store will be present selling exclusive baseball merchandise for fans to sport this season.
