A World Voice Day program will be held Wednesday from noon to 1:30 p.m. in Buschman Theatre in Ed Landreth Hall.  The event, co-sponsored by UT Southwestern Clinical Center for Voice Care and TCU, is aimed at students aspiring to voice-related careers (music, theatre, communication studies, etc.) and faculty from those disciplines.

 

The program will include learning effective warm-up exercises, exploring voice-saving techniques, minimizing throat congestion and discussion of a typical visit to a laryngologist.

 

In addition to the UT Southwestern specialists, TCU theatre faculty Krista Scott, David Brock and Nancy Elledge will also participate.
