7th Latin American Music Festival today through Friday on campus

Maestros Miguel Harth-Bedoya (Fort Worth Symphony conductor) and Germán Gutiérrez (TCU Symphony conductor) are collaborating on this week's Latin American Music Festival, with events staged both on the TCU campus and at Bass Performance Hall downtown.

Musical themes from Harth-Bedoya’s “Caminos del Inka” project will be represented throughout the week of concerts and recitals. Guest artists include the percussion group Tamborimba, tenor David Guzman and a guitar, tiple and bandola trio, all from Colombia; renowned Peruvian guitarist Maria Luisa Harth-Bedoya and composer/conductor Arturo Rodriguez from Mexico. TCU ensembles performing include the Symphony Orchestra, Wind Symphony, percussion ensembles and electronic chamber music group. The Fort Worth Symphony will play for the Bass Hall events.
