If you or a family member becomes ill with the flu:
As the ill person or caregiver, you are asked to self-isolate from school or work from the onset of symptoms until 24 hours after you or the family member is fever free without the use of fever-reducing medication.
Regarding H1N1: TCU has ordered enough doses of the H1N1 flu vaccine for each person on campus. More communication will follow on the distribution process for this vaccine as the University receives information on the release from the government.
The University reminds you to continue to practice good hygiene by frequently washing your hands or using hand sanitizer, covering your mouth when you cough or sneeze, and avoiding touching your mouth, nose and eyes to prevent the spread of germs.
