Six TCU faculty members were recognized for outstanding service to the University during Fall Commencement Dec. 17 in Daniel-Meyer Coliseum.

Winners of the 2011 Deans’ Research and Creativity Award are Alan Shorter (College of Fine Arts), Manochehr Dorraj (AddRan College of Liberal Arts/Social Sciences) and Sergei V. Dzyuba (College of Science & Engineering).  Other nominees were Eric Yorkston (Neeley School of Business), Daxton R. Stewart (College of Communication), Jennifer Watson (Harris College of Nursing & Health Sciences) and Theresa Strouth Gaul (AddRan College of Liberal Arts/Humanities).

Winners of the 2011 Deans’ Teaching Award are Robert Vigeland (Neeley School), J. David Brock (College of Fine Arts) and Doug Ingram (College of Science & Engineering). Also nominated were Amber Finn (College of Communication), Fran Huckaby (College of Education), David Jenkins (Harris College of Nursing & Health Sciences), Eric Cox (AddRan College of Liberal Arts/Social Sciences) and David Grant (AddRan College of Liberal Arts/Humanities).
