The School of Music invites you to "Russian Night," the third concert in the Faculty & Friends Chamber Music Series for 2011-2012, Monday, Feb. 13, at 7 p.m. in PepsiCo Recital Hall.

 

Performers include Swang Lin and Eugene Cherkasov (violins),
 Misha Galaganov (viola), 
Jesús Castro-Balbi (cello),
 John Owings (piano) and
 William Gibbons, program annotator.

 

The program includes Sonata for Viola and Piano in F Minor, Op. 49  by Anton Rubinstein, Sonata for Cello and Piano in G Minor, Op. 19  by Sergey Rachmaninov and Piano Quintet in G Minor, Op. 57  by Dmitri Shostakovich.
