Students rank Neeley No. 5 in the nation in Bloomberg Businessweek


Four years in a row, the Neeley School of Business has ranked in the top six in the nation by recent graduating students surveyed by Bloomberg Businessweek for the annual Best Undergraduate Business Schools ranking. For 2013, TCU moved up to No. 5 in the Student Survey, behind Notre Dame (1), Cornell (2), Virginia (3) and Richmond (4), and ahead of all other Texas undergraduate business schools: SMU (9), UT-Austin (11), Texas A&M (23), UTD (37), Baylor (60) and Houston (105). The Neeley School also ranked tops in Texas in Academic Quality, tying with UT-Austin at No. 35, the two highest ranked Texas schools in that category.

 

“Our continued success in the eyes of our students is particularly noteworthy since only four business schools in the country ranked ahead of us,” George Low, associate dean of undergraduate programs at Neeley, said. “Our distinguished faculty and staff deserve all the credit for this impressive accomplishment.”

 

Neeley garnered A+ in Job Placement, A+ in Teaching Quality and A+ in Facilities and Services. Overall, Neeley ranked No. 28 out of 145 U.S. schools ranked by Bloomberg Businessweek. The rankings are based on surveys of 85,000 senior business students and 519 employers, and a calculation based on SAT scores, internships, class size, student-teacher ratios, number of hours of classwork and average starting salary of recent graduates.
