Women’s Studies will host a lecture by visiting scholar
Elizabeth Engelhardt at 5 p.m. Monday, April 8 in Palko 130. She is chair of
the American Studies Department and professor of Women’s and Gender Studies at
UT-Austin.
Dr. Engelhardt's talk, “Writing the Mess of Greens
Together: Collaboration, Community, and Southern Food,” will relate to her most
recent book A Mess of Greens (2011)
and her current research on gender, food, and food ways across the American
